Hi Team,

Does SN74CBT3257C can support 100Mpbs transmit speed in 4G application? If not, can you please recommend another suitable device for me? Customer needs 4-channle and SPDT here. Thanks.

    Hi Stanley,

    According to the Digital Bus Switch Selection Guide, this device has up to 200MHz bandwidth, which may not provide enough margin for high-speed applications, such as 4G, after system losses from PCB traces, etc, are taken into account.

    TI actually has a great high-bandwidth 4-channel 2:1 (SPDT) device, TMUX1574, which is pin-compatible with SN74CBT3257C and includes features such as 1.8V logic compatibility. TMUX1574 also comes in a tiny new leaded package option, if you are looking to reduce board space as well.
