TS3DDR4000: TS3DDR4000ZBAR

Part Number: TS3DDR4000

I would like to ask technical questions about TS3DDR4000ZBAR

1) What is the measurement value of the original IC protection diode?

2) What is the specification of the I/O to GND measurement group value?

  • Hi Sandy,

    1. The ESD specifications in addition to the absolute maximum conditions found in the datasheet give this information. The protection diodes are there to help protect from ESD strikes as specified in the datasheet. Once the absolute maximum ratings have been violated damage can occur to these diodes.

    2. We don't spec impedance from I/O to GND because during normal operating this connection acts as an open circuit - there will be some slight leakage but this is a small amount. The I/O pins if left floating will not be pulled to ground because there is no direct current path from I/O to ground. However if the input goes below 0V you have a chance to have a current flow from ground to the I/O - this is not a concern if following the recommended operating conditions as listed in the datasheet.

For more detail on this topic please see the following e2e post here.

If you have any other questions please let me know!

    Best,
