TMUX1072: Are inputs 6V tolerant?

Part Number: TMUX1072
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS12A12511

I am looking for a SPDT Analog switch w/ the following specs:

  • Inputs 6V Tolerant
  • Single-Pole Double Throw (SPDT) w/ the ability of having COM pin in High impedance state
  • Switch in High impedance state when it’s not powered-up (w/ COM pin in High impedance state)
  • Bandwidth 1MHz
  • Package No BGA

Do the TMUX1072 or TS12A12511 fit the bill? If not, what is the recommended part?

  • Dakotah,

The TMUX1072 is fits the requirements above.  However, the COM pins are the only ones that are 6V tolerant.  The OVP feature of this device is not bi-directional.

The TS12A12511 is close but it doesn't have the "powered off protection feature" which is (Switch in High impedance state when it’s not powered-up (w/ COM pin in High impedance state)
