TS5A23157: TS5A23157 VIH spec question and application issue

Hi team,

#1.TS5A2315RSER Device datasheet 6.5 Electrical Characteristics: for 5-V Supply It is mentioned that -40-125℃, VIH=3.1V

so in the condition: VCC=5.0V, VIN1&IN2=3.3V, can it meet the spec of vin_min? If it can be met, vin min is in accordance with 3.1V as stated in datasheet?

#2.A problem about the abnormal switch of TS5A23157HRSER was found on the project. The test data is as follows:

do you have some advice on what experiment needed to find the cause?

    1. The VIH is 0.7 * VCC for and at 5V that is 3.5V minimum for a logic high for the TS5A23157. A voltage signal of 3.3V will not guarantee proper operation - this must be at least 3.5V.

    2. What pin was this measured at - I am not sure if this is an abnormal condition because I am not sure what pin is being measured. If you provide more details on this so I can give you better guidance I would appreciate it!

    besides, could you help to confirm:

    Specifically, in the range of 4.75 to 5.25V, -40~125 degrees, the datasheet gives the specific value, 3.1V. so can 3.3V meet this min spec in this condition.

    This spec is specifically saying that when using at extended temperature operation the minimum VIH could be 3.1V - however if using in the full temp range (-40C to 85C) the min VIH is V+ * 0.7 = VIH_min = 3.5V (for V+ = 5V). However when temperature exceeds 85C value the VIH_min can dip below the 3.5V range - I'd recommend that you adhere to the V+ * 0.7 to ensure proper operation.
