MPC507: Pin15 (A2 address bit) is left unconnected or floating

Hi Team,

Our customer would like to know the effects on the output of the MPC507AU if pin15 (A2 address bit) is left unconnected or floating. It seems that the address pins has no pull up or pull down resistor to keep the state to logic high or low if left unconnected.

Hi Danilo,

It is not recommended to leave an address input floating as it could cause unintended operation of the switch as there is no defined state or cause excess current consumption as it may not be at the rail voltage.

I would advise to pull to GND or rail voltage to have a defined state if unused.
