TS3A227E DET_TRIGGER Question

Please confirm that you are showing a stereo 3 pole accessory (top) and mono 2 pole accessory  (bottom). 

When the TS3A227E runs its detection sequence it compares the impedance between the tip and Ring 2 and the Tip and Sleeve of the audio accessory.  Since both the 2 pole and 3 pole accessory have the Ring 2 and sleeve grounded the impedance from tip to ring 2 and tip to sleeve will be the same.  When the impedance are equal the TS3A227E will automatically detect and configure it self to support a 3 pole accessory for both audio accessories.  

Yes the TS3A227E will support both accessories but its automatic detection sequence cannot determine the difference between the 2-pole and 3-pole accessory.
