TS3DV642: Using this switch with Beaglebone black RevB6

Part Number: TS3DV642

I built a cape with TS3DV642 to use with beaglebone black. The HDMI switch only works the first time when beaglebone is powered, when I remove the power and connect the power back again it stops working and beaglebone stops getting power and the all the leds on beagle stay off. So I have to disconnect my cape and reconnect the power back on beagle to make it work. And whenever I reconnect my cape and connect the HDMI cables, the power led of beagles flashes. It seems like an ESD is causing my beagle to malfunction. What can be the solution to this problem?

  • Hello Samer

It looks like it is a problem with the beaglebone black board. I recommend you first of all to try to debug your system and be sure about the board, after that we can try to debug into our switch.

    Francisco
