Switch with nano amp quiescent current

Hi guys,

Newbie here. I require a FET switch which with nano ampere quiescent current consumption and must be capable of I(drain-source) of 500mA for my ultra-low power project so that I can turn on the peripheral devices only when they are needed. I came across a few different FET switches but some of them are required to be controlled through an I2C which is incompatible in my case. Pls offer your suggestions.

Thanks in advance!

  • Hello Allen,

You can use the switch search tool on ti.com to help find what you needed.  The devices in this forum typically are for signal switches and there is another forum for power switches.

I the signal switch portfolio you can filter on the I/O continuous current rating which is the I(drain-source) current it can support.  There are devices that have <1uA supply current as you required but not the 500mA current through the drain and source.

For the load switch portfolio it looks like it has a device you may like.

    Thank you,

    Adam
