TS3DS26227: IF V+/VIO has no power, Will COM port still connect to NC port?

Part Number: TS3DS26227

Hi Team:

IF V+/VIO has no power, Will COM port  still connect to NC port?

  • Bryan,

The TS3DS26277 device state is not defined when V+ has no power.  To ensure Hi-Z between COM and NC port you will need to select a device with powered off protection feature.

This tech note will explain the powered off protection feature.  This feature is also searchable on the Ti.com switch search tool.

Why do you need to isolate the COM and NC path when V+ = 0V?

Why did you select the TS3DS26227 device for your application?

    Thank you,

    Adam
