    Lawrence,

Are you sure you have the C55x compiler installed in your CCSv7 setup?

CCSv7 fully supports C55x devices. The only difference in relationship with CCSv6.x is that the C55x compiler is not installed by default but instead available via the CCS App Center.

Go to menu View → CCS App Center then locate the Code Composer Studio Add-ons category. Click on the button “See more”:

Once this category is expanded, locate the C5500 Compiler icon and click on “Select” to install it.

To install DSP/BIOS, click on the Home button at the top left of the CCS App Center and locate the category “Standalone Software”. Then click on “Download” below the DS`/BIOS v5 to open the browser on the downloads page available on the web.

A CCS restart may be required.

    Hope this helps,

    Rafael

Tried installing the C5500 compiler from the CCS App Center, it says it completed, installation history shows it is installed, but the C5500 complier does not show up in the C:\ti\ccsv7\tools\compiler directory. Seems to be another bug. I manually downloaded it and installed it.

    Installed DSP BIOS v5.

Still have the same errors when importing project from the connected audio framework

    In reply to Lawrence Wong:

    Lawrence,

I did some additional tests here and this indeed seems to be a problem in CCSv7.x. I filed the bug number CCSIDE-3099 and you can check its status in the link SDOWP in my signature below (it will be available in a few minutes).

    Please apologize for the inconvenience,
    Rafael
