Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Dear,
I am trying to load compiled code in simulink in code composter studio v6 (.OUT file), after having done all the settings and throws me the following error:

C28xx: Loader: One or more sections of your program falls nto a memory region that is not writable. These regions will not actually be written to the target. Check your linker configuration and/or memory map.

  • I'm using the XDS100v3
  • Ccsv6
  • TI card model TMS320P28016

If you can help me I would appreciate it

    Nicolas,

It would be best to contact The MathWorks.  I suspect that the issue is that the linker command file used by Simulink doesn't match with the memory layout of the TMS320F28016.

Here is the memory map from the data sheet for the device:

The error you are getting is basically CCS saying that the program is trying to load to a memory address that as far as CCS is concerned is not writable.

    Regards,

    John
