UniFlash v2.0 and TMS320F28015 with Serial Connection

Hello everybody,

Could somebody tell me how use UniFlash with TMS320F28015 with a Serial Connection?

I can see this microcontroller with the XDS100 emulator but I can´t found it with the serial connection.

    Hi Juan,

    I do not believe Uniflash supports older emulators.

    Have a look at the list of supported emulators here:

    Hi Lisa,

    As you can see in the link that you give, the serial connection is allowed by this software, but seems that not for all devices.

    Do you have more information regarding this issue?

    Hi Juan,

    At this time, flash operation through serial connection is only supported on the f28m35x and f28m36x devices. We are looking into the flash support through serial connection with the c2000  business unit but there is no definitive plans in action yet. Please read the latest release notes here to find the limitations and known issues of the current version: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CCS_UniFlash_v2.0_Release_Notes

    The implementation of flash solutions through serial involves some target side development that varies from target to target mainly due to different memory map. So it will be likely that only the most popular devices will be supported in the near future.
