Code Composer Studio C/C++ support

Hello! I look for a code composer studio guide but I can not found too much information about his support.
In this page there is a list of features but with different compiler version for each arquitecture.

I use Stellaris and tiva launchpad, marked as v4.5.0 version, but latest is 6.1. what characteristics are included?

There is any way to use classes in a project? I type "class" in my old project but is not recognized. Also, I try to do it changing project options from " " (nothing) to "Embedded c++" but i cant build because errors (Command-line error #928: option "embedded_c++" can be used only when compiling C++).

I'm sorry but this does not answer any of my questions.

I usually use CCS in plane c code with normal "CCS project" (not C++ project) and some days ago I heard about advanced c++ capability and "Embedded c++" but documentation, at least documentation I found, are diffuse and mix CCS for ARM processors, DSP and others.

C++ project (not CCS project) uses GCC to compile, different way that CCS, and this is not trivial.

So, please answer my question if you know it.

do User's Guides of TI compilers not answer your questions?

this user guide is not only stellaris/tiva oriented, it has 188 pages, is for optimizing and not a guide of functions supported and also has not the answer about if Embedded C++ can be used in normal CCS project or not nor if a class can be used in a normal CCS project.

I have seen threads and information you have shown me, but my problem persists. Maybe it may be simple but you have not told me: I have a normal CCS project, only is needed to rename the file .c to .cpp to run c++ code?

in response to my main question: Yes, only is needed to change .c to .cpp in a normal CCS project.
About Embedded C++, I have not try it yet.
