CCS 6 installation problem

Hi,

I got an installation problem with the CCS 6 offline installer which I downloaded from the link below:

software-dl.ti.com/.../self_cert_export.html;ref_url=software-dl.ti.com/.../CCS_6_1_0

Actually I previously tried the web installer but it doesn't work so I turned to this offline installer but it's still not working.

In fact, I got the following error message during the installation:

    Hi Kelvin,

    Have you unzipped the offline installer package? Could you perhaps unzip it in a folder like c:\temp and try again?

    Yes, I did unzipped it before I started the installation, and I did try putting the files inside a folder named c:\temp and it's still not working

    Besides, I find that the files were not able to be extracted by winzip or winrar and it returned saying that:
    " C:\temp\CCS6.0.0.00190_win32.zip: The archive is either in unknown format or damaged "

    The only way I could extract those files was using 7-zip, but it didn't end up in a normal way as I would get a message saying:
    " Unexpected end of data
    CRC failed : CCS6.0.0.00190_win32\featurerepo\binary\com.ti.gcc.arm.win32_root_4.7.2013.10 "

    So I guess it is the file corruption problem and I try downloading other versions of the CCS 6 but I still got the same problem
    Would you give me some advice on this?

    Hi Kelvin,
    It looks like your antivirus is corrupting the files during download. What are you using? Is it possible for you to turn it off during the download and installation?
