  • Hi Danny,

Did you try the SD diagnostics tests (SDConfig utility)? Did they all pass?

  • Dear KI:

Thanks and I tried to use SDconfig and test again. I select XDS510USB =>510=>EMU (used default value) and It shows the error below.

"ERROR >>Diagnostics scan error". How can I correct this error (Any other setting lost or my adapter was broken?)?  Thanks for your help.

  • Hi Danny,

Does the continuous scan test in SDConfig show errors in Jtag scan chain?

Looks like there might be a problem in the jtag chain possibly. You may now need to probe the JTAG signals TDI, TDO, TRST, TCK to check the faulty signal

You have to do this , once with emulator connected and signals on board and next, emulator disconnected and signals on emulator pod.

This will help you to isolate the problem, in emulator or on board.

Was the board exposed to static discharge during any time, since ti was working well before?

    Regards,

    Sid

  • Hi:

I found there is no JTAG CLK to our hardware board after SD testing. I used another adapter (I used EMULATOR and ADAPTER for DM6446) to test again and it's alive.

Thanks for your help. Our adapter has something wrong. Thanks again.
