Unable to install CCSv6 in ubuntu

i had download the ccs setup to install in ubuntu 14.04 lts unable to install, i had extracted the package, i had found the .bin package and i had give nthe executable premissions to that package

chmod +x packagename.bin and run the cmd: ./packagename.bin and unable to install.

Could you explain what's happening when you run the installer?

Does it start up?

If it doesn't start up, are you running on a 64 bit machine? If yes, do you have the requisite 32 bit libraries? The CCS installer is a 32 bit binary and will not start without some libraries being preinstalled. See http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Linux_Host_Support_CCSv6.

If it does start up, could you please zip up the contents of the <installdir>/ccsv6/install_logs folder and attach them here.
