C64XP_0: Error connecting to the target: Connect to PRSC failed, -6305 in linux ( DM6446 EVM Board)

Version of the host OS: Ubuntu 12.04 1GB 32-bit
CCS Version: 5.4.0.00091
DM6446 EVM Board,Emulator : Spectrum Digital XDS510 USB

I am trying to debug message application provided by DSPLINK in DM6446 EVM board

I am running ./messagegpp message.out 100 in linux and

When I try to debug using CCS I get the foolowing error "C64XP_0: Error connecting to the target: Connect to PRSC failed, -6305 "

Any help will be appreciated.

Sridevi,

All of the PRSC errors reported are related to reset - a core may be held in reset, or external circuitry may be holding the device in reset (does not seem to be your case). In any case, I would strongly check if the DSP itself is being held in reset at the time you are trying to connect using CCS - to learn how to do that, check the video USING ICEPICK mentioned in the last note at the reference below:
