C674X_0: Error connecting to the target: Connect to PRSC failed

Dear All,

We are using DSP TMS320C6748EZWTD4E in our custom board same as EVMC6748.

We are using CCS-5.4 with JTAG XDS100v2 USB emulator.

We have set boot mode pins BOOT[7:0] = 0001 1110 (Emulation Debug)

Also, the JTAG scan test is passed successfully.

When we try to connect with the board, we are getting the following error message :-

"C674X_0: Error connecting to the target: Connect to PRSC failed"

 We have already tested reset circuit and it is working properly.

Kindly help us to get rid of this problem asap.

    Hello,
    The PRSC error is something that comes up from time to time. Searching the forums would yet a lot of hits. Check out the post by Rafael:

    Another customer ran into the issue because of the secure boot option (using an OMAP L138).

    finally, your version of CCS is quite old. It is recommended to always try the latest version of CCS when running into issues.
