Are you trying to use GCC for compiling C6000 DSP project or A15/A8/A9 code?

For C6000 projects, how the GCC and TI compiler inter-operatability works.

I don`t think by default this usecase is supported in CCS.

I want to use GCC for compiling all DSP project, not only C6000. I install a MinGW GCC, but how to select this GCC for compiling CCS project.

Mabey, by default, it is not support to use GCC for compiling all DSP project, but i want to know, i say in theory, could i use GCC?

It is not possible to select this compiler for a CCS project. Instead you would need to create a "C/C++ Project" vs a "CCS Project". There is more information on this here: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Projects_and_Build_Handbook_for_CCS

The GCC you mentioned would be for building code that would run on your PC and not on the DSP. Is your idea to create a "golden C" project and then port it to different DSP architectures? There is a GCC port for C6000 here: www.linux-c6x.org/.../Linux-c6x_2.0_Release However you would get much better code if you use the TI compiler. The TI compiler does support GCC language extensions so that can help with making your code compatible across GCC and the TI compiler. processors.wiki.ti.com/.../GCC_Extensions_in_TI_Compilers
