CCS/CC2650: Sensortag project disappeared from resource explorer

Part Number: CC2650
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BLE-STACK

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I'm working with MacOs. Short summary:

- Project not building on CCS6.2/uninstaller not working

- CCS7.0 not installing

- Project not building on CCS7.1.0.00014/uninstaller not working

I removed all TI related folders and installed CCS7.1.0.00015. Then I recognized that CC2650 Sensortag Project disappeared from Resource Explorer.

After spending endless hours over the last three month, there is nothing left I can do.

  • Same issue: cc2650 sensortag project not visible since yesterday... I deleted it to restart from fresh (I've done that several times)
A prompt reply from TI is much appreciated. Need the project to keep going.
  • Ante,

Regarding working with MacOS, the BLE-Stack is officially supported only on Windows. However, users have been able to install and use it on other OS. Please see this FAQ post on the BLE forum and this MacOS CCSv6 page for tips on installing and using BLE-Stack on MacOS. Please note that the wiki page was written for an older version of CCS and BLE-Stack so some details may need to be tweaked but the overall steps/tips should be valid.

The CC2650 package that was in Resource Explorer was a pretty outdated version. It was removed to avoid confusion and keep users on the latest version. You can download and install the latest version from http://www.ti.com/tool/ble-stack.
