CCS/CCSTUDIO: Error Log

Hi TI Experts,

Now my customer used the CCSv6.1.3 and they were faced the error when install the compiler via App Center. It showed "failed to install the selected add ons. Please see the Error Log for more detail." So, please let me confirm two questions.

1. Would you please teach me the Error directory?

2. What is cause of this issue?

  • Hi Kaka,

    The error logs are in the workspace folder. If you're on windows and used the default workspace to start up, have a look in %USERPROFILE% for the workspace directory. Then check in .metadata. There is a .log file there. If you post that log file here, we may be able to tell what's causing the problem.
