CCS/TM4C123GH6PM: ISSUE IN CONNECTING TARGET WITH THE IDE

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I cannot able to connect my target with my IDE (code composer studio). I am using CCS version 6.1.3 in these compiling is happening but if i proceed for the debug session it showing error. I here attached an image with the error what i was getting. In device manner i can able to view the port opening also and i have checked with the various USB port also but i getting a same error. Can any one able to resolve these issue.

Niranjan,

I'm assuming you are using the TM4C123 launchpad. I see that your Device Manager list is showing the Stellaris In-Circuit Debug Interface which leads me to believe the drivers are installed correctly. One thing to check is that you are connected to the USB port labeled "debug" and that the power select switch is in debug mode.

Hi,

I am using the USB PORT "DEBUG" and switch in the debug mode only. These issue is still their and cannot able to connect the target in the debug mode for debugging purpose. Can anyone provide me how to overcome these issue.

Hi niranjan,

Using LM Flash Programmer try these below:

1. Debug Port Unlock
2. Complete Flash Erase.

I am trying to flash the bin file in the target but in that also it getting ERROR. I here attached the error message while flashing through LM FlashProgrammer tool as a image. Kindly check these and provide the way to solve these issue or tell me whether i am doing the correct steps for flashing the bin file, what you have mentioned in the above reply.

Hi,

Go to LM Flash Programmer Flash Utilities to erase entire flash. Go to LM Flash Programmer Other Utilities to perform debug port unlock.

What was the last thing you did to the TM4C Launchpad, before this error happened?
