CCS/TMDSEMU110-U: About Error message

Part Number: TMDSEMU110-U

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi Sir

we got new XDS110 jtag and connect it to PC.

we used CCS 7.2 to do test and show below error message

-----[Print the reset-command software log-file]-----------------------------

This utility has selected a 100- or 510-class product.
This utility will load the adapter 'jioxds110.dll'.
The library build date was 'Feb 8 2018'.
The library build time was '18:36:28'.
The library package version is '7.0.188.0'.
The library component version is '35.35.0.0'.
The controller does not use a programmable FPGA.

An error occurred while hard opening the controller.

-----[An error has occurred and this utility has aborted]--------------------

This error is generated by TI's USCIF driver or utilities.

The value is '-267' (0xfffffef5).
The title is 'SC_ERR_XDS110_TARGET_SUPPLY'.

The explanation is:
The controller could not detect valid target supply. Check target
JTAG connection and/or connection setting specifying voltage level.

[End: Texas Instruments XDS110 USB Debug Probe_0]

we also update the XDS110 firmware and the result is the same.

XDS110 doesn't connect to anything.

please advise

The error message above explains that your target board does not have power - make sure proper power is applied and any jumper settings are not preventing the main processor from being properly powered. Also, double check the connections and the pin orientation of the ARM 10 and 20 pin adapters (if you are using them).

    Hope this helps,
