Hi,

I am trying to use energy trace tool on my mac OS Mojava. It doesnothighlight enery trace feature in dubug mode and it doesn't work even in no-debug mode. Pleaase check the screen shots. Is it suppose to work on mac? Is there something wrong with my installation? PS:And I did do that configuration check in preferences

Hi,

I see you indicated that you are using the MSP-EXP432E401Y board. Unfortunately this board does not feature EnergyTrace.

I am able to make EnergyTrace work flawlessly on CCSv8.2.0 on Mojave, but I am using other development kits such as the LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2 and MSP-EXP432P401R.

Hi Rafael,

Thank you that answers my question. can you by any chance suggest me a launchpad/development board which has ethernet like MSP-EXP432E401Y ad also has energy trace technology?

Hemanth,

I can't find a development board with Ethernet and EnergyTrace. You can, however, consider either purchasing a MSP-EXP432P401R and supply power and JTAG to the MSP-EXP432E401Y via flying wires or get a full fledged standalone XDS110 Debug Probe (TMDSEMU110-U). Just be aware of the maximum output current of 100mA for the EnergyTrace implementation.
