CCS/CC1310: Question about uninstallation of ccs6.2

If you have MS Windows, use windows Applications and Functions admin panel or similar, depending on Windows version, to uninstall ccs6.2

Having some difficulties when running ccs6.2 you can come here to look for help, you do not need to change ccs version, probably.

You do not need to uninstall ccs6.s to install ccs8xx or ccs9xx.

Many ccs versions can coexist in directory stucture like c:\ti\ccs620, ... c:\ti\ccs830, ... c:\ti\ccs901

Thanks for your reply. However, the uninstaller cannot be run in the Windows Applications and Functions admin panel.

When I run another version of the installer, you can see the following prompt.

win10 64bits

Unfortunately, it can't be used from 9.0.1 to 7.0. The installation error is the error in the above figure, only 6.2 can be installed.

As Tom mentioned, it is ok to completely delete the root CCSv6.2 folder. This should effectively "uninstall" it.

As for why you cannot install CCSV9, that error is a strange one. Are you simply double-clicking on the ccs_setup_win64_9.0.1.00004.exe file in the extracted zip? Are there any installation logs? If so, please attach them to this thread.

As you said.
Since the installation process was aborted at the beginning, the CCSV folder was not generated, so I couldn't find the installation log.

A few more questions:

-I see that you extracted the installer to an "F:" drive? Is that a local drive or something like a network drive?

-Do you have administrator permissions?
