CCS/CCSTUDIO: Default number format in "tooltip" view

Hi,

I know how to change the number format in the debug->expressions view but is there any way how to change the number format in "tooltip" view?

The "tooltip view " I mean the quick view when I stop the mouse cursor on the variable, expression etc. As you can see on the picture below the default value is 2 and I would like to see the decimal or hex value.

And what is the default number format in my example?

After some investigation, it appears that it is not possible to change the format from the default (which is based on the type of the variable). Sorry

Nevertheless I don't understand why is the default value 2 if hex is 0x32 and decimal is 50.

Now I also understand the default number format:

In my example the value shown is unsigned char so the default number is ASCII representation (char).
