CCS/LAUNCHXL-F28069M: Wiring Lego Mindstorms EV3 with Launchpad + BOOSTXL-DRV8301

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28069M
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Is it possible to wire Lego EV3 Mindstorms with Launchpad F28069m using I2C interface ? Can you please point to any application note  to implement this. I want the Lego to act as Master and the launchpad to act as the slave (receive data from lego and forexample: rotate the motor, get data about the motor…) , is it possible for this launchpad to act as slave? I couldn't find any example code for it. Which is easier I2C or SPI for this connection ?
