CCS/MSP430FR2512: MSP430: Error connecting to the target: Unknown device

hi,

whenever i debug my program, even a simple example codes of blinking the LED, i faced 2 types of errors,

- MSP430: Error initializing emulator: Interface Communication error

- MSP430: Error connecting to the target: Unknown device

i've tried to restart CCS and check the wire connection in case of any loose wire but still the same. any idea why?

Hi,

could you please describe the HW you're using, especially the debug connection to the MSP430?

Have you checked the supply voltage at the MSP430? Is it in the specified range.

Have you ever managed to connect to your target?

The blinking LED code example, have you used the automatic project import option from CCS and TI Resource Explorer?
