CCS/CC2652R: Debugg Port connectors for CC2652R

Part Number: CC2652R
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1, TMDSEMU110-U

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi there ,

I have question related to XDS probe for debugging CC2652R.

Do we get the debugger seperately from launchpad LAUNCHXL for CC2652R or ( this Launchpad kit include the debugger and the required USB probe and JTAG probe ?) .If it does then can the board be used to debug the optimized embedded system (sepearte Kit/Embedded Hardware ) based on CC2652R

I have gone through the XDS probe Link: http://www.ti.com/tool/TMDSEMU200-sU

its cost is too high .

Do we have alternative method of debugging

Thanks !

The LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1 has a built-in XDS110-class Debug Probe. This debug probe is used to debug code on the board itself and it has jumpers that can break the signals to allow debugging an external board.

The standalone version of the XDS110 Debug Probe is the TMDSEMU110-U. The Debug Probe you linked is a bit higher featured Debug Probe, thus it costs a bit more.
