I'm new to CCS. Im working on sci_echoback program. I used hyper terminal to read the data and it is working properly. This I can achieve only when I connect the controller kit to Code Composer Studio IDE and I've to run (debug mode) the code. Is there a way to make the dsp standalone? That is, my program should run immediately after power on(without connecting dsp to ccs).(cold start and hot start)

You need to program your code into flash.
