CCS/D3-3P-TDA3X-SK: Cannot load program to the EVE of TDA3 RVP in CCS.

Part Number: D3-3P-TDA3X-SK

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi Team,

I am using XDS200 to debug the TDA3 RVP board with CCS. Everytime when I try to load program to CCS, it reports the following error.

ARP32_EVE_1: Trouble Reading Memory Block at 0xa1000000 on Page 1 of Length 0x4: (Error -1065 @ 0xA1000000) Unable to access device memory. Verify that the memory address is in valid memory. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK). (Emulation package 8.4.0.00006)
ARP32_EVE_1: File Loader: Verification failed: Target failed to read 0xA1000000@Data

I checked some similar posts, for example, http://e2e.ti.com/support/processors/f/791/t/866655?TDA3XEVM-TDA3-RVP-loads-eve-binary-failed-when-debugging-on-CCS. In that post, Victor Cheng suggested to remove all the initialization gels and only load symbols. Can you please give me more details about this part? How to generate and load symbols? Do we still need to boot with SD card in this case?

Best,

Frank
