Compiler/C6000-CGT: Size of map files in CGT 8 increased rapidly

Hello,

We detected minor issue regarding map files generated by CGT 8.3.4. In our case, they are approximately 3 times bigger, than map files from CGT7 (9,7MB vs. 27,4MB). Quick analysis show significant number of trailing spaces in new map files. Could you fix it in next release?

    Thank you for notifying us of this problem.  I see the same thing.  I filed the entry EXT_EP-9684 to have this investigated.  The behavior is correct, but inefficient.  Therefore, it is filed as an enhancement and not a bug.  You are welcome to follow it with the link below in my signature.
