CCS/TMS320F28388S: how to use s-record in CCS9.3

2. You don't necessarily need a post build step. First you need to decide which type of SREC you need, then enable the hex utility on the project properties and pass the type as a parameter to the tool.

.srec is script of s-record tool,not CCS output file.

Could you please clarify? Your subsequent questions to me seem identical to the previous ones, which I have replied above. I can reiterate that we don't have an independent s-record tool, but instead the Hex utility built into CCS that I mentioned before that can write .srec files if properly configured. Also, the hex tool can be configured directly on the project properties, thus not requiring a post build step. Apart from that, I don't know what else I can add to my previous reply.
