On sdk version 5 file system, I copied all * .dts files to sdk version 6 file system from the / boot directory to the same directory, and tidl(ssd_multibox, segmnetation etc) examples work

Are you on the latest release of the SDK? There was a known bug that caused an incorrect loading of opencl firmware relative to the settings in the respective DTS files. This was in one of the 6.* releases and was promptly fixed. If you update to the latest version of psdk, there should not be an issue.

Also, could you send the output of  'cat /proc/cmem' and the exact command that you are using to run the demo?
