Which versions of ccs will do the needful?

I have windows 10 and i want to have simulator capabilities for dsk 6713 because i don't have hardware dsk 6713 and i want to verify my code via simulator

    Hello!

    Windows 10 suggests you have rather modern machine, which might allow you run modern CCS. Those on machines with 64-bis OS may benefit from large amount of RAM usable by 64-bit Code Composer, starting with v.9.

    Your situation is different: you want simulator. Simulators were completely dropped in versions 6 and above. So if you have to work with simulator - 5.x is your option. Running it on Win10 may require compatibility mode, bot other than that it just works. Bear in mind, those versions also require license, there is free one provided by TI at CCS dowload page. What I don't see clearly if there is C6713 simulator, hope you can check on your site.

    rrlagic is correct. CCSv5.5 is the last version of CCS to come with simulators (including the C6713 device simulator). Note that CCSv5.5 is very old and no longer supported. Hence if you run into any issues with it, there is little support we can provide.

    Also, CCSv5.5 was never officially supported on Windows 10. While many have gotten it to work just fine on Windows 10, there is no guarantee.
