CCS/LAUNCHXL-CC3235SF: About out_of_box project using SmartConfig Provisioning

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-CC3235SF

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi Team,

SDK: simplelink_cc32xx_sdk_4_20_00_07

The WIFI AP information has been configured through mobile phone APP and it can be connected to the corresponding WIFI AP in normal operation.

But when I turn off the AP router about 2 minutes, then turn on it ,the  CC3235  is still in  unconfigured state and cannot be connected to the router.

Can you help to check it?

Regards,

Kevin

  • Hey Kevin,

You mention specifically SmartConfig provisioning, do you see the same behavior with AP provisioning?

Are you using the default out_of_box project? Can you provide a log of the terminal output? I'll try and see if I can re-create this behavior on my end.

    Regards,

    Paul

  • Hi Paul,

I see the same behavior in AP provisioning .

I use the default out_of_box project and do not eidit it.

The  terminal logs as the following:

  • Hey Kevin,

I tested the default out_of_box project and the device successfully reconnects to the AP after I turn the router back on. By default this project sets the Auto Connect policy. This means the device continuously attempts to connect to an AP from the stored profiles based on priority. Can you make sure that you are successfully provisioning the device and the AP profile is being stored?

The log you provided shows the device waiting to be provisioned. Could you provide a log of the terminal output after the device has been successfully provisioned? Specifically I'm looking to see what terminal output you receive after you disconnect the router (AP) and then turn it back on.

    Regards,

    Paul

  • Hi Paul,

I have resolved the problem by editing the codes。

    Thank you!

    Kevin
