I'm using Instaspin Lab 2a (suggested for using BOOSTXL-3PhGaNInv in the manual)

Which version of C2000Ware or ControlSUITE are you using?

Hi Ki,

The main issue is the debug session would not work because it would not connect to target, the target configuration verification failed.

Did you change any of the options? The options should be based on the "boostxldrv8301_revB" that you copied and renamed as per the instructions. I am using the same motorware version as you.

I don't have another motorware folder within boostxl-3PhGanInv, but if I go into the projects folder, the only option is ccs and that leads to all the labs and I have the proj_lab02a folder with all the files for that in the Release folder shown in the image

Oops, you are right. The path I mentioned is a weird path. The correct path to the file is.

C:\ti\motorware\motorware_1_01_00_18\sw\solutions\instaspin_foc\src\proj_lab02a-BOOSTXL-3PhGaNInv.c

If that file is there, please go to the project in CCS and replace the bad link for proj_lab02a-BOOSTXL-3PhGaNInv.c with the correct one. You can simply delete the link in Project Explorer and then add the file back tp the project
