CCS/MSP432P4111: measuring MSP432 code coverage

I have an MSP432P4111 board with a XDS110 connected via the MSP-EXP432P4111 using CCSv9. I would like to measure code coverage. Is there a how to example? What tool within CCS should I be using? Do I need to set special code build options?

Please search the TI ARM compiler manual for the sub-chapter titled Using Profile Information to Analyze Code Coverage. That describes a method for obtaining code coverage without CCS. I failed to find documentation on how to perform the same process within CCS. Because of the holidays, the experts I would ask are not available. Please be patient.

Thanks George, I downloaded the manual which was very helpful. I will wait to see if the experts have more to say. I had previously generated a profile, but didn't know what to do with it.

Gary,

George and I have been looking at this. We will put together a little app note that explains the process. Getting the coverage results to display in CCS is not possible today. However we will put something together that shows the steps of how to get to the csv file that has the coverage information.
