PROCESSOR-SDK-AM437X: CCS 8 with SDK 6.3.0.106

BTW, you can always get to previous Processor SDK releases by clicking the link under "Previous SDK Link".

The error message shows "Unknown product-type ID 'com.ti.uia'". This means UIA is not registered with CCS. You can either restart CCS and let it discover UIA, or click the "Install..." button to manually install uia_2_30_01_02 which you already had.

It was indeed the not properly registered UIA product. CCS did not recognize it upon startup, so I had to install it manually.

Here the sequence how to install the product manually for those reading this post:

Inside CCS select Window -> Preferences.

Go to:

Select the folder where the UIA product resides, like e.g. "C:\ti\uia_2_30_01_02".

Let CCS install the product and re-boot CCS. Now the product is being shown in the products window:

I am now able to generate the example projects.

That is a very interesting point. How do I know which CCS  version the PDK script uses in case that I have multiple versions of CCS installed?
