CCS 4.2.3 : where is the "low power run" option?

Hi,

following the instructions on:

I'd like to use the low power run feature. I'm using an XDS560M by BH.

I see the "Allow power transitions while running if supported (Low power running)" option with CCS 5.0.2.00006  but not with CCS 4.2.3.00004.

Is it a bug, or do I need a different emulator?

    Massimo,

    Although I don't have a BH560m, I can see the low power option mentioned in the link sent by you (I am connected to a C6A8168 EVM with a XDS510USB from Spectrum Digital). Check the attached picture; it is at almost the bottom of all the options of the Cortex A8 core. I am using CCSv4.2.3.00004. 

    This option should be working fine, but if you upgraded your version of CCS can you try to do a workspace clean and Reset the debug perspective? Check the General IDE section of the page below:

    Hi Rafael,

    I followed the trouble shooting recommendations for IDE and Debugger, but it didn't help.

    I also tried with an XDS510 USB by SDI (not USB plus). I'm just missing that line in the options. I have "disable interrupts" just below  "Reset the target...".
    I will give a try with C6A8168 when possible, just to check. I'm using DM3730 as target today.

    I'll try to get a DM3730 and see if this option shows here, but I think this feature is tied to the core and not the device...

    In any case, please let me know your findings.
