Welcome to the Code Composer Studio (CCS) Forum!

This forum is for all public discussion related to the CCS GUI/Debugger, TI Code Generation Tools (compiler, linker, assembler, etc), UniFlash, PinMux, GUI Composer, and TI Cloud tools. General comments, feedback, and questions about the above mentioned tools are welcome.

Note that the focus on this forum is the above mentioned tools. Any questions on specific code/project example that is not a tools specific question should be asked in the relevant device forum (examples from various SDKs and wares like SimpleLink SDK, TivaWare, C2000Ware, etc for example).

Any questions regarding MATLAB and Simulink should be sent directly to the Mathworks support: https://www.mathworks.com/support.html

NOTE: Versions of Code Composer Studio older than version 10 are NO LONGER FULLY SUPPORTED BY TI. You may still ask questions for older versions, but any bugs or enhancement requests will not be addressed with those older versions. Version 10.x have priority and it is recommended that existing users upgrade to at least v10 if possible.

When reporting a CCS issue in this forum, please follow the guidelines detailed in the link below:

    If the issue is validated as a new bug by someone from TI, it will be filed and a tracking ID will be posted as a reply of the original post. That ID can then be used to track the progress of it with the external bug tracking portal.

    === FAQ ===

    Q: Why did TI mark my post as "TI Thinks Resolved" when all that was done was a bug or enhancement request being filed?

    A: This is done more for thread tracking purposes. When a bug or enhancement request is filed, the support team has effectively handed off the issue to the engineering teams to address. From a support standpoint, the issue has been closed and no more action will be done from a support standpoint. Marking the thread as "TI thinks Resolved" is a way of communicating this. Note that by no means do we think the issue is closed overall. Further progress of the issue can be tracked through the online public bug tracking portal as mentioned above.

    Q: How do I start a private conversation?

    A: Click on the user you wish to start a conversation with and use the option to 'Send a private message'. Depending on the privacy settings of the person, you may have to add them as a friend first before this option is available.
