How to install BIOS 6 for OMAL L138 LCDK, Linux Ubuntu

Hi,

When I installed CCS v5.5.0 to Ubuntu 12.04, 32 bit, I forgot to install C6000 comipler and BIOS 6. Then, I installed MCSDK for L138. Is it right that BIOS/SYS 6 can be installed to CCS 5,5,0, Linux to develop DSP code? Is there a recommend method to install BIOS/SYS6.

The strange thing is that the installed software window (from Help menu) shows SYS/BIOS 6 installed. Please help me on this problem.

    Hi Robert,

    ok, the first step is to confirm what is installed.  This is in Window->Preferences->Code Composer Studio->RTSC->Products.

    If there is a BIOS version you still need then you have a couple options.

    This site has a download for it

    Or you can try pulling it in using updates but I suspect the above would be easiest.
