Hello,
I have decided to use Code Composer Studio IDE. I have
downloaded version 6.2.0 from TI web pages. Now I am not
sure whether the downloaded version is fully functional or not.
Some manufactures like Microchip offer fully functional versions
of their IDEs for free, but some of them offer only restricted
versions. Please can you clarify me this? Thank you for your
answer in advance.

    Hello,
    CCS 6.2.0 comes with a variety of options to use CCS for no cost. What device and board are you planning to use CCS with?

    Thank you for your reaction ki. I have got a control board developed by

    another company. The control board is equipped with TMS320F2808

    DSC and I am going to use XDS510 or XDC200 emulator for debugging

    purposes. Is it possible to use free licensed CCS 6.2.0 for this?

    The default free license will not work for your environment. However we do have quite a few licensing promos going on that you may be eligible for. Can you start a private conversation with me so that I can get a bit more information on your environment?

    I decided to use free version of Code Composer Studio v6.2.0 in connection

    with XDS100 emulator at the beginning. If I eventually find that this solution is

    not sufficient for me then I will start to looking for some more expensive solution.
