CCS/CCSTUDIO-KEYSTONE: CCV6 rev 6.0.1.00040 installation issues

Part Number: CCSTUDIO-KEYSTONE

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi CCS Forum,

I was trying to install CCS 6.0.1.00040 on ubuntu 14.04 LTS using process described in http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Linux_Host_Support_CCSv6#Ubuntu_14.04_64bit

Based on https://www.element14.com/community/people/vish/blog/2014/06/11/ti-connected-launchpad-2-installing-ccsv6-in-ubuntu-1404 i have isntalled the dependencies.

However when after installing the MCSDK from http://software-dl.ti.com/sdoemb/sdoemb_public_sw/mcsdk/3_01_02_05/index_FDS.html , when i open the CCS, it tells me to install the new softwares which were just introduced after installing the MCSDK (and it is to be expected.)

But i get the following error when i try to install them:

An error occurred while collecting items to be installed
session context wasprofile=epp.package.cpp, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect, operand=, action=).
No repository found containing: binary,org.eclipse.platform.ide.executable.gtk.linux.x86,4.3.1.M20130911-1000

Have tried to delete the cache folder in this location " <installdir>/ccsv6/eclipse/p2/org.eclipse.equinox.p2.core" as recommended here https://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/code_composer_studio/f/81/t/544231 but it doesn't helps too. (In my case i don't have org.eclipse.equinox.p2.repository folder).

Please let me know what i am missing out.

Thanks
