CCS: Tortoise Git - No Repository Selected

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I have a local repository setup in c:/users/public/TiRepos. I added a folder here labeled workspace8 copied my project there. I have done a File>Import>Git>Projects from Git to load the project into CCSv8. I have added the Git perspective but it see no repositories???
