I want to work with the TMS320F2811, aber i have a problem with the connection between my Computer : CCSv4 and the Microcontrollerplatform. When I debug, i become the following message :

Error connecting to the target:
Error 0x80000200/-1142
Fatal Error during: OCS,
Processor blocked debug accesses. An operation was attempted while
the CPU was in a non-debuggable context. To continue to honor the debug
context, press Cancel. To force debug access, press Rude Retry.

and in the console appears : DSP281x_Peripheral.gel', line xxx: the function 'GEL_WatchAdd' is not supported.

So i become the folowing two picture:

Has anyone any idea how to resolve this problem?

For the "Error connecting to target" message, could you please make sure that Real-time mode is not enabled when you start your debug session. This option is under Project Debug Properties->Target tab. Make sure that the option 'Enable silicon real-time mode" is not enabled. The key thing is to make sure that real-time is disabled prior to loading the code.

For the "GEL_WatchAdd is not supported" message, this appears because CCSv4 no longer supports the GEL_WatchAdd function. This DSP281x_Peripheral.gel file was provided with CCS 3.3 as a convenient way for users to view peripheral registers in the watch window. This is no longer necessary in CCSv4 as those registers are visible directly in the register view. So you can remove the call to DSP281x_Peripheral.gel from your existing GEL file.

Try disabling real-time mode. Right click on your project and select Debug properties. Select the target tab, Scroll down to the real-time options section and uncheck the box to "Enable silicon real-time mode". Once you have connected and loaded your program it should be fine to put it back in real time mode (there are buttons on the toolbar for that).

Some of the GEL files still have GEL_WatchAdd() statements in them. You can ignore those warnings.

Thank you for the help: it works now perfect. Yestoday i have changed this option without giving it any importance. Now i can connect the TMS320F2811 properly.
