CCS/AM3352: can't generate platform configuration files with Code Composer Studio Version: 8.3.0.00009 for AM335X

Can you confirm you are using XDCtools 3.51.01.01 and SYS/BIOS 6_73_01_01 in the meantime? It looks like it based on the screen shot above.

           Yes, I am using  XDCtools 3.51.01.01 and SYS/BIOS 6_73_01_01, here is a small correction , I tried to use RTSC tools to generate platform configuration but not XDC tools in previous description.

the Platform Wizard, which is how that tool is called, is meant to be used with C6000 and any other device where a cache can be configured in SYS/BIOS and the memory map changes accordingly. For Arm devices we haven't supported the Platform Wizard for some time. I'll need some time to find out what exactly is stopping the Platform Wizard from working with Arm devices.

I can't really tell from your screenshot, but it seems you tried using ti.platforms.evmAM3359. Have you tried it, and how does your custom board differ?

here is a relevant thread where a user was able to create the platform - e2e.ti.com/.../301307

To do that, try selecting 'cortexa8' family instead of 'arm' and you should be able to use AM3358 or AM3359.

with Code Composer Studio Version: 8.3.0.00009,  please refer to the screenshot attached. there is CortexA8  option in device familay list.

So, it seems this is not resolved yet.
The content of that drop-down list depends on the products selected under Window->Preferences->Code Composer Studio->RTSC. Verify that everything else other than SYS/BIOS 6.73.01.01 is deselected before starting the Platform Wizard. You can also post the screenshot of the list of products just in case there is something there that could look suspicious.
