Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I am new to use tms320C6748. In software development page, there are tow options for IDE software - C6000 code generation tools - compiler and Code Composer Studio (CCS) Integrated Development Environment (IDE). Which one should I use for code development? or should I need both?

If CCS is good option, which Platform should I choose for IDE download? I see a list under "Features", but could not find C6000 DSP listed.
