Hi 

I have problem importing examples for TMS320F28377S

I tried to fix it with this thread

but this did not help. Importing works for 28377D , 28388D but not for 28377S

    Vadim,

    Are you seeing the same error "location cannot be resolved" as in the other thread or something else?

    I will send this over to the C2000 team to take a look at.  I think there is something wrong with the metadata for these projects.  I can reproduce the same for other f2837xs examples.  When I look at your error message the path it is trying to import from is missing the root location where C2000 is located:

    C:/device_support/f2837xs/examples/adc_ppb_delay/cpu01/ccs. That device_support... part is the path under the root C2000Ware installation.  Thus when Resource Explorer tries to import the project the location it is looking is incorrect.

    I was able to import the above example by going to the project menu and selecting Import CCS projects.  Then I browsed to the location of the project and I was able to manually import it this way:

    Hi John,

    There is another issue with C2000ware. You cannot see the files in the Resource Explorer window. For example in MSP430Ware you can click on a c file and see it in Resource Explorer Window. The only way to see the files in C2000Ware is to import them in the project

    Currently browsing of source in Resource Explorer has not been abled for C2000 examples.  I am looping in the C2000 team to comment.

    Hi John,

        I was just having the same problem as Vadim with C2000Ware 3.03.00.00.

    If I click on the triple dots and select managed versions and select and install C2000Ware 3.02.00.00 or 3.01.00.00 I found that these versions do indeed work to load F28377S example programs into CCS. I also was having the same problem with CCS web with C2000Ware 3.03.00.00 (Which lead me to do full CCS install) but have not tried to roll back to 3.02.00.00 or 3.01.00.00 to see if this would have also solved problem of loading examples into CCS web.

    Hi Craig,

    There is an issue with the metadata for F2837xs projects. The root path is incorrect which is causing the import of the projects to fail.

    Have created a bug to track it and will be fixed in the next release.
