tiva c series TM4C123G (EK-TM4C123GXL)

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: EK-TM4C123GXL

Good Evening , I have at my disposal tiva c series TM4C123G (EK-TM4C123GXL) and I want to get acquainted with it in the context of a project that I have undertaken and I wanted to follow step by step the following workshop downloads.ti.com/.../ As shown in the image below in the second step it says: '' Select the blinky example under Software -> TM4C ARM Cortex-M4F MCU -> Development Tools -> -> Examples '' However when I follow these steps and go to the 'Development Tools' tab, the 'examples' tab does not exist so I can select it as shown in the image below. Do you know why ??? Am I doing something wrong ??

  • I will look at this in more detail when back in the office on Monday. I suggest you directly download the latest version of TivaWare. Then you have the library and can do a "File" -> "Import" and import the example project from the directory: C:\ti\TivaWare_C_Series-2.2.0.295\examples\boards\ek-tm4c123gxl\blinky

  • Yes, the workshop example is for an earlier version of the software and is outdated. I have checked and TI is aware of the discrepancy and is working on plans to update it. In the meantime, use the link you found to download the "blinky" example, or download TivaWare and import the "blinky" project as I described above. Let me know if you run into additional problems.

  • Thank you very much for everything

I followed your instructions and everything worked very well, I had no other problems
